2 can pinto beans* (16 oz. ea.)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper
30 x tortilla chips
Instructions:
Instructions: * Or 4 cups cooked pinto beans (in a little of their cooking liquid)

1. Place the pinto beans in a 2 quart pan, and cook over medium heat until theyre hot.

2. Remove beans from stove, and add the next 5 ingredients (the seasonings).

3. Mash the beans well, taste, and add more seasoning, if desired.

4. Put beans back on the stove, and cook over low heat. Stir the beans while cooking, so they dont get stuck together.

5. Keep cooking until most of the liquid from beans has been absorbed.

6. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.

7. Grease a 9 inch pie pan with oil, and spread the beans in the pan.

8. Layer the tortilla chips on top of the beans and sprinkle the cheese over both layers.

9. Bake for 15 minutes and serve warm.
