Instructions: Blend almond paste, orange peel, sugar and salt by hand. Fold in egg whites. Drop by teaspoonfuls into lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350F for 15-17 minutes, until light golden brown. Cool slightly. Transfer to racks or paper towel to cool completely. Makes 30. Options: Use 1 teaspoon almond flavor instead of orange peel. Almond coated: Drop by teaspoonfuls into 1 cup toasted chopped almonds. Coat evenly. Cook as above. Email this Recipe:
