Instructions: Cook onion in oil until tender and add to beans.

Brown meat, drain. Add other seasonings. Add all to beans - cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Ladle on hot bread. Top with cheese, lettuce, onions and tomatoes. Serve hot with salsa. May also serve with avocado and sour cream.
