Instructions: Separate sausage into small pieces and combine with raisins and allow to boil about four minutes. Let cool and add soda. While mixture cools, sift together flour, sugar, and spices. Sift into sausage mixture and combine well. You may add nuts and fruits from your favorite fruit cake recipe. Bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours in a slow oven at 300F. You cant believe how good it is!
