Instructions: Beat egg, margarine and cake mix. Pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix together cream cheese, eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla. Put on top of cake mix in pan. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 40 minutes, until golden brown in center. Remove from oven and cool. Cake will fall. You can freeze any leftover for an emergency dessert.
Note: If you want this cake to be thinner, you can use both a 9 x 13-inch and a 6 x 9 1/2-inch pan and divide the dough and filling as stated above. Email this Recipe:
