1 x (20-oz.) can pineapple slices
1/8 tsp salt
2 x (17-oz.) cans yams, drained
3 tbl butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup chopped nuts
3 tbl brown sugar
1 cup miniature marshmallows (or 10 regular marshmallows)
Instructions:
Instructions: Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup syrup. Line sides of 10 x 6 inch baking dish with pineapple, slightly overlapping; arrange yams in center. Pour pineapple syrup over yams. Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter or margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in nuts. Sprinkle over yams. Bake at 350 deg. for 25 minutes. Top with marshmallows. Broil until lightly browned. 6 to 8 servings.
