This is a wonderful new way to make the traditional pecan pie. 1-In saucepan, combine egg yolks, sour cream, flour, vanilla and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 5 minutes. Pour into pie shell; set aside. 2-In large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add brown sugar; continue to beat until stiff. 3-While filling is still warm, spread egg whites topping over filling. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
