1 lb firm tofu packed in water drain and mash
1 cup quick rolled oats
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 x onion finely minced (opt)
2 tbl onion powder
2 tbl soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix ingredients together. Knead for a few minutes. Shape into 6 patties.

Fry in lightly oiled cookie sheet at 325F degrees for 25 minutes. Serve on whole wheat bread or buns. Top with lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, grated carrot, onion, pickles, ketchup or mustard.
