2 lb Beef stew meat -- cut up
16 oz Sour cream
1 cup Red wine
1 lb Mushrooms
(you can cheat and use Canned)
1 pkt Lipton brand dry soup mix
1 can Campbells brand mushroom
Soup
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 dsh Louisiana Hot Sauce --
(optional)
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix all ingrediants, cover tightly, bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Dont peek! Serve hot over noodles. (A Cajun friend who went only by his first name which I have translated into polite language taught me this when I was quite young. I found in later years that people outside Louisiana refer to this dish as Beef Stroganoff...)
