Instructions: This easy recipe for lokshen (noodles) is a terrific light dinner for a warm summer evening. Plus, kids love this Jewish version of fettucine alfredo!
1 pound egg noodles, medium wide 1 pint dry cottage cheese or pot cheese 6 tablespoons butter, softened 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon white pepper 1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook until tender to the bite. 2. Drain the noodles and pour them back into the pot over very low heat. Add the remaining ingredients, then toss everything together until the cheese starts to melt. 3. Serve immediately with a tossed salad. Email this Recipe:
