Instructions: Cream together lard and sugar until light and fluffy.Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in molasses.Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir into creamed mixture. Cover with plastic wrap.Chill 1 hour in refrigerator.
Shape dough in 1 1/4" balls. Place 2" apart on greased baking sheets. Bake in 350 oven 18 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from baking sheets; cool on racks. Email this Recipe:
