Instructions: Cook together until it forms a fine thread when dripped from spoon. Then add another 1/4 cup cream very slowly and 5 T. butter and cook until mixture forms a hard boil in cold water, stir almost constantly. Take candy off heat, add 1 teaspoon vanilla and pour into buttered pan. Let cool and mark into squares; press one walnut into each square.
