Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease cookies sheets. In Large bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add oats, flour and baking soda, mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls, roll in nuts. Place on cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven, gently press candy into center of each cookie.

Cool 1 minutes on sheet, then remove to racks. Store tightly covered.
