Instructions: Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Whisk together baking soda, salt & flour. Set aside.
Mix together brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter & 1 teaspoon vanilla & egg. Beat until creamy. Blend in flour mixture slowly. Stir in cornflakes, oats & 1/2 cup almonds. Stir well. Set aside 1 cup dough. Place remaining dough into baking pan. Melt chocolate chips & 1 tablespoon remaining butter together over low heat. Add 1 cup almonds, condensed milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla & salt. Blend well. Press this mixture over cookie mixture. Crumble reserve cup of dough over top. Bake 30 minutes. Cool & cut into bars. Drizzle with melted vanilla chips. THE DESSERT SHOW Email this Recipe:
