Instructions: Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Cream the butter in a bowl. Add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy. Add the flour and blend well. Stir in the oats. Roll out on a lightly floured board to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into shapes with floured cookie cutters. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 20-25 minutes, then cool.
