Instructions: Mix well and add about 1 1/4 cups more flour to make a cookie like dough. Add 1 cup raisins. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven 350 to 370 degrees about 10-15 minutes, depending on size of cookies.

This cookie recipe used to be made and then sent to the battlefield in France during World War I. (later they were sent to kids away at camp.)
