1 cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Packed brown sugar
2 x Eggs
2 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Oatmeal
1 tsp Vanilla
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat the oven at 350.
cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and blend well. In a seperate bowl, mix dry ingredients together except chips. Beat dry mix into butter/egg mixture, combining well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls (for big cookies)

onto parchment papered cookies sheets.

Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes
I like my cookies to be soft so you might want to watch them closely on your first batch so they come out the way that you like them.
