1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 stk butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 x eggs
1 tsp vanilla. OR
1 x orange, grated peel of
3 cup quick or old-fashioned oats, uncooked
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon: set aside.

In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla or orange peel until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch morsels. Drop by tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheet or spread dough in a 15 1/2x10 1/2x1-inch baking pain.

Bake cookies 7 to 8 minutes for chewier cookies; 9-10 minutes for crisper cookies. Bake in pan 18-22 minutes if spread in Pyrex. Cut into 32

(2-inch) squares.
