Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large saucepan mix the 2/3 cup sugar, cornstarch & salt. Cook over medium heat until thick. Add the vanilla, stir well. Remove from heat. Arrange bananas in a serving dish, spoon the pudding on top. Using an electric mixer, whip the egg whites to a soft peak. Add the sugar & cream of tartar, continuing to whip to a firm peak. Spoon on top of pudding & brown in the oven for 20 minutes. Makes 5 servings (any added cookies will increase the amount of fat). Email this Recipe:
