Instructions: Roll meat cubes in flour to coat all sides. Use all the flour. Brown meat in fat in heavy skillet or Dutch Oven. Sprinkle salt, thyme, and pepper over the meat. Add water and catsup. Cover skillet with tight-fitting lid and cook slowly over low heat 45 minutes. Stir in vegetables. Cover and continue cooking 30 minutes or until vegetables are just done. yield: 6 servings. 2 quarts.
