Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
200 gm flour
1 x egg
100 gm cabbage chopped
100 gm pork (shrimp, beef,
chicken if also available), chopped
1 cup dashi-soup (or water)
20 gm yams grated
oil
okonomi sauce(or Worcester sauce + tomato ketchup)
green dried laver small pieces(if any)
dried bonito chipped off into

Instructions: Although I havent learned okonomiyaki in my cooking school, it is very popular in Japan.

Actually I cook it 2 or 3 times a month for lunch.(never for dinner)

6.1 Shell shrimp.(if any)

6.2 Combine all ingredients except oil, okonomi sauce, laver, and bonito in a large bowl.(dough)

6.4 Heat a little oil and pour the dough.

6.5 When cooked, place to a plate and add okonomi-sauce.

6.5 Cut into some pieces and put green dried laver and dried bonito.
