Instructions: Mix by hand until stiff. Add 3 cups peeled and chopped apples (about 3 big apples). Bake in a 13 x 9 for 1 hr at 350 (metal) or 325 (glass). Let cool at least 10 min (while you make icing below), then poke holes in the cake with a fork. Pour icing over cake and let cool 3 hrs.
Icing: 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 1/2 stick butter or margarine 1/4 cup half and half (fat free kind works fine) Bring to boil and boil for 3 minutes. Email this Recipe:
