powdered sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup water
1 tsp flavoring oil
Instructions:
Instructions: Sprinkle an 18 x 24-inch strip of heavy-duty aluminum foil with powdered sugar. Mix the granulated sugar, corn syrup and water in a large heavy pan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310 degrees on a candy thermometer or until a few drops of syrup form hard and brittle threads in cold water. Remove from heat. Stir in oil and coloring. Pour onto foil. When cool, break into pieces. Store in airtight container.

Makes 2 1/4 lbs.
