Ingredients:

3 cup water
3/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
2/3 cup raisins
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup dark molasses
1/4 cup dark brown sugar - (firmly packed)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 x eggs beaten to blend
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Bring water and salt to boil in heavy large saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add oats and cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Transfer oatmeal to 6-cup souffle dish.

Add all remaining ingredients except milk and stir until well combined.

Bake until set, about 1 hour.

Spoon porridge into bowls. Serve, passing milk separately.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
