Instructions: Wash strawberries; remove and discard caps. Puree berries in blender or food processor. Set aside, In a large bowl, beat eggs until thick and lemon colored. Beat in sugar, half & half, extract and whipping cream. Stir in pureed strawberries. Pour into ice cream canister. Freeze according to directions.
Makes about 2 quarts NOTES : Another favorite of mine, again uses uncooked eggs. This is rich and creamy even when you substitute 1/2 & 1/2 for the whipping cream. I buy strawberries in season on sale, puree and freeze them so I can have strawberry ice cream all year. Email this Recipe:
