4 x cloves garlic salt & pepper
1 x -2 Tbls butter boiling water
Instructions:
Instructions: Peel garlic and set aside. Sufficient round steak to feed your family. Trim off all visible fat. Brown trimmed meat in butter. While meat browns, slice onions as thin as you can. When meat is almost brown on second side, add very thinly sliced onion, pressed or minced garlic, salt & pepper. When meat is well browned on both sides, add about 4 cups boiling water to cover & cloves. Cover, reduce heat and cook until meat is very tender, about 2 hours.

Remove meat and mash onions if they have not dissolved. Add enough water to make about 2 cups of gravy. Remove whole cloves. Serve over rice, potatoes or pasta.
