3/4 lb Boneless beef round steak, trimmed and cubed
1 tbl Cooking oil
4 med Potatoes, unpeeled, cut into l-inch cubes
5 med Carrots, cut into l 1/2 inch chunks
1 x Celery rib, cut into 1 inch chunks
1 lrg Onion, cut into l inch chunks
1/2 oz Chunky stewed tomatoes
3 tbl Quick-cooking tapioca
1 tsp Browning sauce
1/8 tsp Pepper, (up to 1/4)
Instructions:
Instructions: In a Dutch oven, brown the steak in oil. Add the next eight ingredients; cover and bake at 300* for 4-5 hours, stirring twice. Add the peas during the last minutes of baking.
