Instructions: Sprinkle garlic powder over tri-tip and then brush both sides with the mustard. Cook tri-tip over open hickory and coal seven minutes each side twice. Combine steak sauce, horseradish and sugar. Baste tri-tip with sauce. Remove to platter and slice with grain.
Serve with "Desert Sour Cream Potatoes", "Soldiers Famous Fresh Broccoli Salad", your own homemade bread, and "Fantastic Cream Cheese Fudge Brownies" (see recipes).
