Yield:

Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
3 lb country style spareribs (meaty pork ribs)
1 tbl cooking oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp grated orange peel or more to taste
2/3 cup orange juice (fresh or diluted concentrate)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
Instructions:
Instructions: Trim ribs of excess fat. Heat pressure cooker. Add oil; brown ribs. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over ribs. Close cover securely. Engage pressure regulator (if applicable). COOK 15 MINUTES. Cool pressure cooker at once.

TEST: I basically followed the recipe...except:

* I used white sugar and added molasses to it.

* I used more orange peel than the amount called for.

* regular ribs, not country style, but they were really lean.

* After I had mixed all the ingredients together, I added a splash of chipotle hot sauce.

* And I cooked the ribs for 20 minutes, not 15. They were cooked at 15 minutes but I wanted them falling off the bone so I put them back on for an extra 5 minutes.

COMMENT: The thick sauce was wonderful and the ribs were juicy and tender. JP asked for seconds! He loved them! And the aroma was tantalizing! JoAnn 9-01

Serving Ideas : Dinner with rice and a broccoli-carrot side dish

NOTES : Quick variation: combine 2 parts orange juice and 1 part bottled teriyaki sauce. Omit the sugar, ginger and soy sauce.
