Instructions: Place the sugar and water in a pan over moderate heat and stir until dissolved.
Bring to the boil and boil for 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature then stir in the fruit juices and orange rind. Pour into a shallow freezerproof tray. Freeze to a snowy granular texture stirring every 30 minutes. Spoon into 4 tall glasses and serve immediately with a straw or spoon. Serves 4 Note: If the ice freezes solid transfer to the refrigerator to soften until it can be mashed with a fork. Email this Recipe:
