Instructions: Peel the oranges making sure you get rid of all the white bits and slice them thinly across to make about 6 or 7 slices per orange. Arrange these prettily around a shallow bowl. Stone and finely chop the dates and sprinkle them in a ring around the outside of the oranges.
Sprinkle the slivered almonds in an inner ring. Spoon any juice out of the dish and mix it with the orangeflower water then pour it back over the oranges dates and almonds. This will keep in the fridge for a couple of hours and indeed its best served chilled. Just before you serve it sprinkle the whole confection with a little ground cinnamon. This is a lovely fragrant fruit salad with which to end a meal. It combines the oranges for which Morocco is now famous with dates and almonds traditionally grown there for centuries.
