3 x sleeves of saltine crackers (Krispy Crackers, if available)
1/2 can cream of celery soup
1 x 8 oz. can oysters Or, 1 pint fresh oysters, chopped
1 tbl butter
1 cup peeled, chopped Vidalia or sweet type onion
1 cup sliced celery (trim, remove any strings)
1 can sliced mushrooms (8 oz mushrooms, sliced)
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp table salt
1/4 cup milk (NOT lowfat)
Instructions:
Instructions: Saute onions about 2 minutes. Add celery. Cook until celery is tender.

Add mushrooms. (If using fresh mushrooms, cook about 4 minutes.) Crush crackers in sleeves and pour into mixing bowl. Mix together with rest of ingredients.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
