1 pt large oysters
1 cup dry vermouth
3/4 cup cooking oil
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 tbl chopped chives
2 tsp salt
1 x clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp thyme
4 dsh hot pepper sauce
1/8 tsp sage
1/4 lb fresh mushrooms
1 med green pepper, cut into 1/2"
1 med onion, cut into eighths
Instructions:
Instructions: Remove any remaining shell from oysters and drain. Combine next 10 ingredients. Mix well. Add oysters, mushrooms, green pepper and onion to marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Cook bacon until done but not crisp.

Thread oysters, bacon and vegetables on four 12-inch skewers, placing a piece of bacon next to each oyster. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat source for 4 to 6 minutes, or until oyster edges curl and bacon is crisp.
