Yield:
1
Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1 lb ground lamb or beef
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp chopped green chile, such as jalapeno
1/2 cup chopped parsley
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly oil it.

Mix all ingredients except parsley and mint in food processor; grind to very fine paste. Add parsley and mint, and mix again. With wet hands, make small balls, using about 1/2 cup meat mixture for each one. Roll them into long kebabs. (You can roll them over the back of a wooden spoon handle and slide them off onto the baking sheet.) Cook for 30 minutes, turning kebabs halfway through.

Kebabs are done when reddish brown on the outside.

Serve hot with pita bread, yogurt and tabbouleh, if you like.
