Instructions: Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and lemon rind. Mix well. Stir in flour and chopped cherries. Roll between waxed paper to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with 2 inch cookie cutter. Place on greased baking sheet. Top each cookie with 1/2 cherry and 1 filbert. Bake at 375 degs for 8-10 minutes Sprinkle with confectioners sugar makes 1 1/2 doz
