6 slc good quality dayold white bread 1 cm thick
2 x eggs size 3
85 ml single cream
2 tbl sweet sherry
1 tbl oil
60 gm butter
1 tbl caster sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Remove the crusts from the bread and cut each slice into three fingers.

Mix the eggs cream and sherry together.

Dip the bread in this mix in sugar mixed with cinnamon if wished.

Serve immediately with hot apricot jam sauce.

Makes 18 fingers
