1/2 cup brown sugar
1 dsh salt
1 tbl light corn syrup
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tbl margarine
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine sugar, salt, syrup, milk and margarine. Boil in pot, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches the soft-ball stage (240 degrees on a candy thermometer). Add vanilla and beat mixture until it holds its shape. Add nuts. Spread quickly into a greased pan. Cool and cut into squares.
