Instructions: Preheat the oven to 215C.
Melt the butter, golden syrup and brown sugar in a small pan and stir. Add the bananas and soften very slightly. Slice the panettone and dip into the cream and milk. Put a layer into an ovenproof dish and top with a large spoon of the banana mixture. Repeat the process for a second layer, then pour the remaining cream and milk over the top.
