Instructions: Rinse the chicken and pat dry.
Combine 2 cups of the butter with the cheese and whipping cream in a heavy skillet. Heat over low heat until the butter is melted, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and cover to keep warm. Saute the chicken in the remaining 1/2 cup butter in a skillet until cooked through and browned. Place the chicken in a chafing dish. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken. Serve hot.
