Instructions: Heat oven to 375 degrees Beat together sugars and shortening until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined flour, soda and salt.

Mix well. Stir in 1/2 cup candies. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto
greased cookie sheet. Press 2 or 3 additional candies into each cookie.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 6 dozen 2 1/2 inch
cookies.

NOTE: One 16 ounce package equals 2 1/4 cups.
