Top cake with a whipped cream frosting or mocha whipped frosting is which great with with this moist chocolate cake. Or fill and frost layers.

comment: I often use a chocolate ganache to cover the layer cake and a fresh flower for garnish. There are many versions of this sour milk cake but our family enjoys this one the best! This cake tastes best the day after being baked and freezes very well.
