Instructions: With fingertips, crumble cake meal, sugar, and butter into a coarse meal. Stir in the chopped pecans (walnuts also work). Sprinkle evenly over any fruit pie and bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 45 minutes. You may want to add some cinnamon, nutmeg, or ginger to this streusel depending upon which fruit filling you choose.
