1 tbl Olive oil
1/2 cup Finely chopped onion
1 tbl Minced garlic
1 tsp Red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp Salt
1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes, chopped
1 lb Linguine, cooked according to package directions
1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion; cook 5 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic, red pepper and salt; cook 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and their liquid; cook 15 minutes. Toss sauce with hot pasta and parsley in large serving bowl. Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Makes 4 servings.

This simple, speedy pasta with tomatoes gets its kick from red pepper flakes.
