Instructions: Cook pasta shells in 2 quarts of boiling water until al dente. Drain and place in a large serving bowl. Cook bacon in frying pan until crisp and brown. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. Pour all but 1/4 cup of the bacon fat out of the pan. Heat oil and add the onion, garlic and red pepper. Cook for a few minutes, add the tomatoes and then cover and cook for about five minutes. Add the beans to the sauce and cook for about five minutes. Pour the sauce over the pasta shells, add the cheese and salt and pepper and mix well. Crumble the bacon over the top and cook in a 300-degree oven for about 10 minutes until hot and bubbly.
