Instructions: Let the cream and eggs come to room temperature. In a small skillet cook the sausage slices until they are browned and cooked through.
Drain off fat. Remove sausage and keep warm. In the same skillet cook mushrooms and garlic in butter until tender. Meanwhile, cook broccoli, covered, in a small amount of lightly salted boiling water about 8 minutes or until tender. Drain. Cook macaroni according to package directions; keep hot. Beat together the whipping cream, eggs, cheese and pepper. Toss together the hot macaroni and the cream mixture; stir in the mush- rooms. Arrange on a serving platter. Spoon broccoli and sausage atop. Toss slightly; serve at once. Makes 6 servings. Email this Recipe:
