Instructions: Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water for 12 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Pimento, Tomato and Olive sauce: Dice onions, olives, tomatoes, pimento. In a pan, saute the diced onion and garlic in olive oil until tender . Add the white wine, sugar, tomatoes with their juice, tomato paste and pimento. Stir in the seasoning and simmer gently for 1/2 hour until slightly thickenned. Just before serving, add the olives, basil and lemon juice to taste, and pour sauce over hot pasta. Serves 4. Email this Recipe:
