Saute the diced onion and garlic in some olive oil. Add the tomatoes and paste. Stir in the seasoning and simmer for 1/2 hour. Add the lemon juice to taste. *Meatballs: Combine the beef, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, egg, and pepper. Mix thoroughly and shape into balls 1 inch in diameter. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Brown the meatballs lightly on all sides; drain off the fat. Add tomato sauce, cover, and simmer 40 minutes. Finish with fresh chopped herbs. Cook the spaghetti.
