1/4 cup all-purpose flour unsifted
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup vegetable shortening
Instructions:
Instructions: In a medium bowl, combine
flour, sugar and salt. With a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut butter and shortening into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, over flour mixture, mixing lightly until pastry holds together when lightly pressed. Shape pastry into a flattened ball. Wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
