Instructions: 1. Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
2. Mix with i cup sugar, slowly stir in milk to make batter. 3. Melt butter in a 8 x 8 x 2" baking pan. 4. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir. 5. Mix the peaches and 1 cup sugar thoroughly and carefully spoon them over batter. 6. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. 7. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream or homemade ice cream. Email this Recipe:
