1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup Karo syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter, smooth
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine and cook sugar and syrup over medium high heat until it bubbles around edge of pot. Add the peanut butter and remove from heat; stir well, then add Rice Krispies. Mix until Krispies are well coated.

Press into 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan; cut into squares after cooling only a short time. Remove from pan when cool.

*Original recipe was Cocoa Krisp using Cocoa Krispies.

Simply use in place of Rice Krispies. Also, use a creamy peanut butter. Some of the "off" brand tend to be too stiff. A 3 quart pot tends to be good cook and mix size - a wooden spoon is good to use. Move quickly through each step. For easier storage, smooth the top of the pan with a silver spoon immediately after pouring into pan. These ship well. Store in an airtight container.
